My HP OfficeJet 9010 printer keeps showing error code B305ED09 on a blue screen on the display. When this error code is displayed, the printer does not work and cannot be turned off at the power button. The only way to get it to work again is to turn it off at the plug and then turn it back on again. This error code happens multiple times a day. Could someone please advise how I resolve this issue?

I have an HP OfficeJet 9015. I reported this same problem in a previous thread. For some reason HP won't openly provide the "secret" semi-full reset instructions but chooses to email them privately, as you'll see in many related threads here. In any case, following the semi-full reset instructions sent to me did NOT fix my problem. But what did work for me - so far after several days/hours with the printer on and no error codes - is to simply follow the printer control panel steps to do a "restore factory default." This was less intimidating than I expected (for me just a few printer default preferences to set afterward) and appears to have fixed the problem. I hope this helps.

Hi @LarryTip,
Welcome to the HP Support Community
I understand you are getting an error message B305ED09 on your HP Printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.
We need to perform a Semi full reset to restore the printer back to its original settings.
The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
