Yeah I have the same issue with my Officejet.

I suspect it started since the last update. Before that this only happened once or twice a year. But since the last update its upto four times a day. Changing the IP address didn't work for me.

Thanks for posting. I believe HP will have to answer us soon as the number of postings on the same problem continue to rise quickly. Pardon me, my printer's lights are all blinking, and the screen is blank white, so I must go reset it. Lol, it really is blinking, this is the 3rd time this morning. Argh

Same here. Issue has been going on for several months and I finally got around to trying to resolve it.

Another HP OfficeJet Pro 8720 AIO user having issues with all lights blinking and white screen. WHY? Planned obsolescence?

I'll add to the pool of people experiencing this same issue.  I also have the same printer.  I also had the same issue in the past with blinking lights and a restart needed only rarely, but now, like everyone else, this issue is occurring several times a day.

I have the same porblem which got a lot worse in these couple of days. officejet pro 6960.

Having the same issue - my OfficeJet Pro 8720 still enters the "all lights blinking with blank screen" state every few hours (at least 6-8 times a day). Pushing the power button reboots it and allows me to print, but the issue always reappears.

Any way to resolve this? Only running MacOS in the house.

I am having the same issue.  I thought maybe it was because it was hooked into my computer with USB, but that was not the case.

Hi,

In this thread, https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printing-Errors-or-Lights-Stuck-Print-Jobs/HP-officejet-pro-8720-freez...

We can find a suggestion to do a semi-full reset, the Instructions are:

Press several times on (invisible) back-arrow (below question mark) to reach hidden support menu, select resets and perform semi-full reset.

I did this Monday morning, and i've not had a single freeze/crash  for 2,5 days now. (previously i had the issues every couple of hours)

I figured that this might help someone else...

Thank you Fenrus.
I found the partial reset, doing it now.
Hoping that this helps.
