Mommy HP Officejet 4500 Desktop printer will not turn on, can anyone help?

There is nothing wrong with the power socket, but when I press the on button nothing works!

Welcome to HP Forums!

I have a few steps to help you out:

  1. Disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.

  2. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

  3. Wait at least 60 seconds.

  4. Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.

    NOTE:

HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet.

  5. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.

  6. Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.

  7. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.

Try to print. If the issue persists: CLICK HERE FOR DETAILS & FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS

(By the end of this article all the issues should be resolved)
