@Rons2g, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand that your HP printer is only printing half a page diagonally, which can be quite frustrating. Let’s work together to resolve this issue.

Cancel All Print Jobs and Restart Devices

  • Cancel all pending print jobs from the Devices and Printers menu.
  • Power off your printer and unplug it for 60 seconds.
  • Restart your PC and reconnect the printer.

Check Paper and Layout Settings

  • Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
  • Right-click your printer > Printing Preferences.
  • Ensure the correct paper size (e.g., A4 or Letter) and orientation (Portrait/Landscape) are selected.
  • Under Advanced, make sure scaling is set to 100% and not “Fit to Page.”

Update or Reinstall Printer Drivers

  • Visit the official HP support page: Official HP® Support
  • Enter your printer model and download the latest driver for Windows 10 (32-bit).
  • Uninstall the current driver from Device Manager, then reinstall the new one.

Perform a Printer Hardware Reset

  • With the printer on, disconnect the power cable from the back.
  • Wait 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.
  • Try printing a test page.

Check for Firmware Updates

  • Go to your printer’s control panel > Setup > Printer Maintenance > Update the Printer.
  • Or check for firmware updates on the HP support site

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
