Hi @Nourain,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand your HP DeskJet 4155e shows your print jobs in the “What’s printing” queue but never actually prints.
Let’s go step by step to clear the queue and get your printer working.

1. Basic Checks

Make sure the printer is powered on and there are no error lights (like paper jam, low ink, or Wi-Fi error).

Ensure the printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer.

If you have a USB cable connected, unplug it for now and test only with Wi-Fi (or vice versa) to avoid conflicts.

2. Clear the Print Queue

On your PC, go to Control Panel → Devices and Printers (or Settings → Bluetooth & Devices → Printers & Scanners on Windows 11).

Right-click your HP DeskJet 4155e → See what’s printing.

Click Printer → Cancel All Documents.

Confirm to clear the queue.

Close the window.

3. Restart the Print Spooler Service

Press Win + R, type services.msc and press Enter.

Scroll down to Print Spooler.

Right-click it → Restart.

Wait a few seconds, then try printing again.

4. Set as Default Printer

Go to Control Panel → Devices and Printers.

Right-click HP DeskJet 4155e → Set as default printer.

You should see a green check mark on the printer’s icon.

5. Run HP Smart App Test

Open the HP Smart app on your computer or phone.

Make sure the printer shows as Ready (not offline or error).

Use the Print Test Page / Printer Report option in the app to confirm basic printing works.

6. Check for Driver or Firmware Updates

Go to the HP Software & Drivers page.

Enter your printer model DeskJet 4155e.

Download and install the latest Full Feature Software and Drivers and any available firmware update.

Restart both your printer and computer after installation.

7. Test With Another Device

If possible, print a document from a phone or tablet using the HP Smart app.

If it prints fine from another device, the issue is with the PC’s print setup.

If it still doesn’t print, it’s likely a printer configuration issue.

I hope this helps.
