Hi @NickJB1,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be glad to help you!

I'm sorry to hear about the frustration with your HP 7110 not offering the A3 option—it’s especially annoying when reinstalling the drivers doesn’t resolve the issue. Let’s figure this out together.

  • Did this issue start after any recent updates or changes to your computer or printer settings?
  • Are you using the printer with Windows, macOS, or another operating system?
  • Have you checked whether the correct paper size is selected in both the printer settings and the application you’re printing from?

Let's try these steps.

Ensure Correct Driver is Installed

  • Verify that you have the latest drivers specific to the HP 7110 installed.
  • Visit the HP Support website and download the driver for your operating system.
  • During installation, ensure you select the full feature driver and software package, not the basic version.

Check Printer Preferences

  • Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers (Windows) or System Preferences > Printers & Scanners (macOS).
  • Right-click your printer and select Printing Preferences or Options & Supplies.
  • Ensure A3 paper size is listed as an available option.

Manually Add A3 Paper Size

  • Open the print dialog in the application you're using.
  • Click Page Setup or Printer Properties and look for an option to add or manage custom paper sizes.
  • Manually input A3 dimensions (297 x 420 mm) if not available.

Update Printer Firmware

  • Check if there’s a firmware update available for your HP 7110.
  • Access the firmware update option via the HP Support website or the HP Smart app and install any updates.

Reset the Printer

  • Power off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.
  • This often resets internal settings and might restore missing options like A3.

You may also refer to the print setting in this user manual. from page 58.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance

Thanks - it turns out I had not restarted my computer after having updating my drivers - once I did that all was well.
