FIrst, the touch screen is not usable. When we have to reload paper, it will tell me, and want me to press OK, but I cannot. So I also cannot use the scan feature on it, because the touch screen not working.
Secondly, I spent hours on a project, and ready to print it, and the project shows up in the queue, but never prints.
So I emailed it to myself, to see if I could use the print share app that I always use, to see if I could print it that way. It says, 1% loading. AND NEVER CHANGES. So it's not going to the computer. I have checked the Wi-Fi connection. I restarted the computer and the printer. NOTHING.
I even unplugged both devices for ten seconds, plugged them back up. I have the same issues. And now, I am not going to be able to print my project out. WHAT DO I DO????

Hi @JiLRaRa,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
Fixing the Print Queue Issue
Check Printer Connection:
- Ensure that your printer is properly connected to your computer via USB or Wi-Fi.
- If connected wirelessly, make sure the printer and the computer are on the same network.
Clear the Print Queue:
- On your computer, open the Devices and Printers window (accessible through Control Panel on Windows or System Preferences on macOS).
- Locate your HP ENVY 5660 printer and right-click (or Control-click) on it.
- Select See what's printing to open the print queue window.
- Select all print jobs and cancel them to clear the queue.
Restart the Printer and the Computer:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Restart your computer.
- After 60 seconds, plug the printer back in and turn it on.
- Try printing your document again.
Update Printer Drivers and Software:
- Make sure you have the latest drivers installed for your HP ENVY 5660.
- You can download the latest drivers and software from the HP Support website.
Addressing Touchscreen Issues
Power Cycle the Printer:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Wait for about 60 seconds.
- Plug the printer back in and turn it on.
HP Smart App for Control:
- Install the HP Smart app on your smartphone or tablet.
- Open the app and add your printer by following the on-screen instructions.
- Use the app to manage print jobs and settings as a workaround for the touchscreen issue.
I hope this helps.
