Hi @KJ07,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

We need to perform an NVRAM reset to restore the printer back to its original settings and see how it goes.

The reset instructions are specific to your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Community profile, next to your profile Name, or simply click on this link.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Please click “Accepted Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution. Click the “Kudos/Thumbs Up" on the bottom right to say “Thanks” for helping!

I have the same issue. Please provide the instructions on how to resolve this issue.

I just purchased a new PC with Windows 11.  My LaserJet MFP M476dw now prints multiple pages, similar to the M201dw problem.  Elohi_NR's reply to KJ07 suggests that I need to do an NVRAM reset.

(Please keep help in simple terms.  I love my printer and don't want to blow it up.

Hi,

Is it possible to have the instructions? I have the same problem with the same printer.

Thanks!

looks like "our" problem is somewhat generic (i.e. applies across a range of HP printers), perhaps related to Windows 11. Problem started for me on purchase of a new PC with Win11, no issue with Win10)

Could be resolved with NVRAM Factory Reset (per HP employee Elohi_NR advice on a different printer model) with instructions sent by PM.

WHEN did you first use Win11? Did that timing relate to the start of your print problems?

My MFP M476dw has also started printing these pages at random times, would have wasted a lot of paper if I hadn't caught it in the act.

I had the same issue with M201dw and Windows 11 PC. I tried all the suggested solutions on this thread but none of them worked. I noticed Windows update KB5027231 rolled out on June 13 was available so I installed it.  After that, I no longer have the issue. FYI ...

This was helpful, but didn't resolve MY problem.  I got all excited, but after finally figuring out where to find KB5027231 and download it, thje darn thing came back to say "not appropriate for this computer"
