Hello,
I've just replaced my printer's toner cartridge with a new original one and it won't print, pages will come out clean. How can I fix this?
Thank you

Hi @AlbertoGC
Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.
Thanks for explaining the issue so clearly. It’s understandably frustrating when a new toner cartridge doesn’t deliver expected results. Let’s walk through a few steps that should help resolve the blank page problem on your HP LaserJet MFP M234dwe:
Check Toner Cartridge Installation:
- Ensure that the toner cartridge is properly installed. Remove the cartridge and reinstall it, making sure it's seated correctly.
Remove Protective Seals:
- Verify that all protective seals or tabs have been removed from the new toner cartridge. These seals prevent the toner from being dispensed.
Printer Calibration:
- Run a printer calibration through the printer's settings. This process can help align the toner cartridge properly.
Print Test Page:
- Print a test page from the printer's control panel. This will help determine if the issue is with a particular document or a general printing problem.
Firmware and Driver Updates:
- Ensure that your printer's firmware is up to date. Also, check that you are using the latest driver for Windows 11. You can find updates on the HP Support Website.
Inspect the Paper:
- Make sure the paper is loaded correctly and that it's not damp or damaged in any way.
Reset the Printer:
- Perform a hard reset of the printer by turning it off, unplugging it for a minute, and then plugging it back in. Turn the printer on and try printing again.
Check Print Settings:
- Ensure that the print settings are correct and that the option to print in black is selected.
Run Troubleshooter:
- Use the built-in Windows troubleshooter for printers. It can automatically detect and resolve some issues.
If the issue persists after these steps, the toner cartridge may be defective despite being original.
Let me know how far you get, and I’ll help you take the next step if needed.
