Can I receive the same procedure in order to restore my printer?

Hi @Dyasman,@s0n1ka, @cbesondy1,

I'd like to help!

We can perform a factory defaults on the printer to resolve the issue

  • The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
  • I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
  • In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Support Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/notes/privatenotespage

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

I perfomed the above procedure succesfully.

However there is an issue on the EWS: I cannot scan to a folder anymore.

The URL on my EWS page (#hId-pgWebScan) states: "You cannot use this function because it has been disabled. For more information, contact your network administrator or the person who set up the printer."

The relative EWS page (#hId-NetworkFolderAccounts) is missing as well as the Firewall section (#hId-firewallRulesPage) and SMTP section too (#hId-emailServerSettingPage).
How do I fully restore EWS on my printer?

HP Recommended

Maybe I found out what happened when I hard resetted my printer to factory default: the new fimware CLP1CN2011AR provided by HP last autumn is missing an SSL certificate for EWS. As a matter of fact each page setup which requires the SSL certificate go in timeout and you cannot access them. How can be fixed it?

Can you please provide me with reset instructions also.

OfficeJet Pro 8600 Plus.

It like some kind of built in bug has gone off. I'm also receiving the same code.  can you help me with reset?

HP Recommended

It does look like built in obsolescence. These printers are otherwise very reliable. Time now for HP to issue a bug fix for this
