Hello,
Yesterday I tried to print with my HP Deskjet printer, but it made no noise like how it usually does every time it's about to print something. I waited for it to respond but it still didn't respond. I tried resetting the printer, plugging and unplugging every cord attached to the printer, I also tried removing and re-adding the printer to my laptop but nothing worked.
I have used this printer for 5-6 years and this is the first time I experience the printer being idle and unable to finish a print job. The last time it managed to print something was around 3 weeks ago. After that, the printer was unused, until yesterday.
Please help me...
Thank you

Hi @KristinHalim12,
I'd like to help!
To better assist you - Is there an antivirus software installed on your Mac? If yes, please try disabling it and check if it works.
While you respond to that, go to System Information to check if the USB is detected or not -
a.) From the Apple menu, choose About This Mac.
b.) Click System Report.
c.) Under the Hardware heading on the left side of the System Information window, click USB. USB 3 devices appear under USB 3.0 Bus, and USB 2 devices appear under USB 2.0 Bus. The printer should be under the USB 2.0 Bus.
If the device is not detected, it may not be receiving enough power or it may be blocked by internet security software. You may also try other ports on the hub or a different cable.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
