My printer is supposed to be able to prints Photos, but I have tried different settings (HP Photo Paper/Other Photo paper/Normal paper) on the printer as well as on my computer. The photo paper jams. With normal paper everything works as it should. Any one with a solution?

Hi,

What paper do you use?

What exact paper weight is listed on its packaging?

Is the paper packaging list the paper as Inkjet compatible?

When you load the paper and close the tray, have you changed the Paper Type into Other Specialty Paper, Glossy? if not be sure to change it from the printer screen as well

Thanks for your reply!

I use Glossy Photo paper dedicated for InkJet printers (270 Grams/Sqm). As I wrote in my initial posting, I have tried all alternatives/Paper settings on the printer itself, as well as on the printer driver on my computer.

I can not find any recommendations about maximum paper thickness or weight per sqm in HPs Printer sepcifications.

The Product Manager at HP must be fully aware about the products technical limits, so I find it odd that they do not publish max paper thickness (or weight/sqm), if that is the problem.
