Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite

Trying to print from my new printer for the first time.  The print queue tells me I'm connected and it looks like it tries to print -- tells me it's "waiting to finish", but nothing prints. The set up looks correct, paper is loaded properly, ink worked perfectly on the test page. Not sure what to try.

I'd like to help!

 

To assist better -

 

  1. Are you able to make copies using the printer?
  2. What's the application you are trying to print from? Have you tried printing from a different application or devices? 
  3. How is the printer connected to your device Wifi or USB?
  4.  Is there an antivirus software installed on your Mac?
