My ink carriage doesn't move to middle to replace ink cartridges. I believe I put ink in wrong officejet 3830

I read your post about the ink carriage being stuck in your Officejet 3830, and I wanted to reply to help out. Try the steps below and if the carriage still won't budge to move order so you can access the ink, then your best bet would be to call phone support to see if they can replace the unit for you. I'll leave their contact details below.

Step 1. Open link: www.hp.com/contacthp/
Step 2. Enter Product number or select to auto detect
Step 3. Scroll down to "Still need help? Complete the form to select your contact options"
Step 4. Scroll down and click on: HP contact options - click on Get phone number
Case number and phone number appear
