My laptop won’t connect to home WiFi network but I can connect my other hp laptop, iPad and iPhone with no problem to the same network. Also, my laptop is able to connect to other WiFi networks including my personal hotspot but not the home WiFi. This just happened this morning because it was working fine yesterday. What should I do? I’ve already reset the adapters but that didn’t work.

@Paige79, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your laptop!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Since your HP laptop is not connecting to your home WiFi but can connect to other networks (and other devices can connect to your home WiFi), here are some troubleshooting steps to fix the issue:
Forget and Reconnect to the WiFi
- Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi > Manage known networks.
- Click on your home WiFi network and select Forget.
- Restart your laptop and reconnect by entering your WiFi password.
Restart Your Router & Laptop
- Unplug your router/modem for 5 minutes, then plug it back in.
- Restart your laptop and try connecting again.
Change Your WiFi Band
Some laptops have issues with certain WiFi bands (2.4 GHz vs. 5 GHz).
- If your router supports dual-band, try switching to only 2.4 GHz or only 5 GHz in your router settings.
Disable Power Saving for WiFi Adapter
- Press Win + X and select Device Manager.
- Expand Network Adapters and double-click on your WiFi adapter.
- Go to the Power Management tab and uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power."
- Click OK and restart your laptop.
Update or Reinstall WiFi Driver
- Open Device Manager (Win + X > Device Manager).
- Expand Network Adapters and right-click your WiFi adapter.
- Select Update driver > Search automatically for drivers.
- If no update is available, Uninstall the driver and restart your laptop (Windows will reinstall it automatically).
Check Router Settings
- Log in to your router settings (usually 192.168.1.1 in a browser).
- Check if your laptop's MAC address is blocked or filtered under MAC Filtering.
If none of these work, try connecting via Ethernet cable and check for Windows updates. Let me know if you need more help! 😊
Take care, and have an amazing day!
