My laser jet printer HP LaserJet Pro M706n prints multiple pages after each print job.  how do I stop this additional printing from occurring. The additional pages are mostly blank but for the same 4 lines at the top of each page that reads:

Content length 179,

Content Type: application/ ipp

Check what printer driver you are using. The text suggests you are using an IPP driver which are typically Microsoft embedded Windows drivers and for the most part more trouble than they are worth. As the 706 is a reasonably modern model I would suggest you use the HP Universal Printer Driver.
