macOS 10.15 Catalina

Hello folks-I have a new MacBook Pro(16in) and I have an new office printer HP colorlaserjet Pro M454dn printer. The problem is I'm using a USB cable and the problem is the print job goes out but the printer NEVER prints out anything. Now here's the strange part. I have a co-worker that has a 2019 Macbook and her print jobs come out just fine. I'm using Catalina and she's using Mohave. Any ideas why my jobs are saying they are printing but nothing comes out of the printer?

Does she connect via USB as well or network. For many HP printers there is a security setting that disables the USB port and that is one possibility. You will likely need to use the embedded web server or HP toolbox to access those settings.

He's using a USB cable and ideally was plugged into the HP USB Hub that has various inputs. So we had him move it directly to his Macbook from the printer using a USB-USB-C adapter. And still nothing prints out. We can't use the network because he doesn't have any free available ports in his office.

I'm using HP drivers and the Macbook sees the printer and even sends the print job thru but nothing comes out of the printer it just sits there.

I found out that it's catalina and that's why it's not printing. I've got to find a driver for it and I should be good to go. Thanks for all the inputs guys!
