I bought a new printer about 3 weeks ago, the 106a toner catridge ran out and I refilled it, since then the printer is still saying catridge is empty and the printing is not clear at all, it’s very light and my printing is all about barcodes, the barcodes is very light and unable to scan, please help, take a look at the picture, it was a lot clearer and darker than this before I refilled it

If you refilled an existing cartridge then likely you used non-HP toner which will never give exactly the same results. The toner still shows as out because their is a memory chip on the cartridge that tracks how many pages the cartridge has printed, this has nothing to do with the actual amount of toner in the cartridge, so refilling will not reset the page count. The chip needs to be replaced.
My professional opinion is that if you had to refill the cartridge after 3 weeks of use you probably bought the wrong printer as this one is not designed for that kind of volume of printing.

I’m planning on getting an additional cartridge to make it two cartridges for my heavy printing work,, and a o if I manage to get an original hp toner to refill the original hp cartridge, I will have my clear and darker printing? Yeah?
