My new printer is printing with white gaps/lines through it? I've just installed it which went fine and used the cartirdges that came with the printer but after doing an alignment check and cartridge clean it is still printing with white streaks through the text. I am using a Mac. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Welcome to HP forums, I see that you are getting print quality issues.

  • Did you make a copy and check if that prints fine?

Meanwhile:

Print a Print Quality Diagnostic page

  1. Load plain paper into the input tray.

  2. On the printer control panel, swipe the display to the left, and then touch Setup.

  3. Touch Tools, and then touch Print Quality Report.

A Print Quality Diagnostic page prints.
