The error event code 71.02.4A on an HP OfficeJet 8013 usually indicates a hardware-related issue. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue.

 

Restart the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds.
  • Plug the printer back in and turn it on.

Check for Paper Jams:

  • Open the printer's access doors and remove any paper jams or obstructions.
  • Ensure that the paper is loaded correctly and that there are no foreign objects inside the printer.

Check the Printhead:

  • Open the printer to access the printhead.
  • Make sure the printhead is properly seated and that there are no obstructions or dried ink causing issues.
  • If the printhead can be removed, take it out and gently clean it with a lint-free cloth and distilled water.

Update Printer Firmware:
