@MK0928, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 is showing as "Ready" but not printing from your MacBook, even though the job is stuck in the print queue, here are some steps to help resolve the issue:
Check Printer Status
- Make sure the printer is powered on and connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your MacBook.
- Print a Wireless Network Test Report from the printer’s control panel to confirm connectivity.
Clear the Print Queue
- On your Mac:
- Go to System Settings > Printers & Scanners.
- Select your HP OfficeJet Pro 9015.
- Click Open Print Queue.
- Cancel all pending jobs.
- Try printing again.
Restart Devices
- Restart both your MacBook and the printer.
- Power cycle your router if needed.
Reset the Printing System (if issue persists)
This will remove all printers and scanners from your Mac and reset the printing system.
- Go to System Settings > Printers & Scanners.
- Right-click (or Control-click) in the printer list and choose Reset Printing System.
- Re-add your HP OfficeJet Pro 9015.
Reinstall HP Smart & Printer Drivers
- Download the latest version of HP Smart for macOS:
HP Smart - You can also check for updated drivers here:
Official HP® Support
Check for macOS Updates
- Go to System Settings > General > Software Update and install any available updates.
Try Printing from HP Smart
- Open HP Smart and try printing a test page or document directly from the app.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
