HP DeskJet 3755 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

My HP DeskJet 3755 all of a sudden can no longer catch paper. I always get an error stating that the printer needs paper even though there is paper in the printer. I tried all the troubleshooting tips including cleaning the rollers and resetting the printer. There is nothing inside the printer causing it to jam either. I rarely used this printer, so it is really strange to have it suddenly completely break down like this.

My warranty expired just a few months ago, so do I have any options to get it repaired? I really want to speak to a HP representative about it. I own a lot of HP products, but I do not want to buy from HP again if they offer such limited customer support.

Welcome to the HP English Community --

Yes, it would be unusual for the hardware to actually break.

For those reading - Troubleshooting here:

HP printers - Automatic document feeder does not pick paper or feeds too many sheets

Generally, there is something more to be tried.

HP Agents, for example, can suggest solutions not available to those of us who do not work for HP.

Yeah, but..

" I tried all the troubleshooting tips including cleaning the rollers and resetting the printer "

What about the Warranty?

True, standard hardware Warranty that comes with the device is limited in scope -

Both coverage and time period are limited based on the type of device.

For example,

  • Consumer grade products might come with a hardware warranty for a period of 1 year.
  • "Upper tier" and business products might come with an extended warranty period.

What else?

For qualifying products, and when purchased before the end of the original warranty, Care Pack contracts might be purchased.  Care Pack coverage types and time periods vary by contract.

True, too, you have a choice of products - HP and other major companies manufacture decent products -- which ones you choose might certainly be based on the type of Warranty you get for free or can purchase for the device.

What to do?

" I really want to speak to a HP representative about it. "

The best we can do is to forward your concern to our Moderator team --

I will do that, of course.

What?

We are not HP Support - we cannot influence what HP provides as Warranty coverage nor do we speak for HP Sales, Warranty, or Service.

Should there be a response to my inquiry, look for a message here before the agent uses other methods to contact you.

Important
