Mid printing, the printer stopped and then showed error code 0X80000924 UNDERCROFT C and won't go on.
I have removed ink cartridges and unplugged for 60 seconds to try and reset it as previously recommended but it still shows the error.

It looks like it is your first visit here and it is paramount to assist you as you are a valued HP customer. Brilliant troubleshooting and great commitment have been displayed. Kudos to you for that.
- Did this occur after a recent power outage or surge?
It looks like a hardware issue with the printer. Let's try these steps now:
Perform a hard reset once again, please.
- Perform a hard reset on the printer from this link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/product/hp-ink-tank-wireless-410-series/16180953/model/16180954/documen... perform steps from the section “Step 1: Reset the printer
- Then update the printer’s firmware by following instructions from this link: https://support.hp.com/bg-en/document/c02919168
- Use a USB cable to update the printer’s firmware connecting it to a computer.
Now check if it gets resolved. If it continues, then there is more to it than meets the eye. The printer is faulty and needs to be replaced. I am being honest about it here by keeping your best interest in mind without beating around the bush.

Thank you for your quick reply. It is great to have you back and your patience and time are greatly appreciated. It looks like a hardware issue with the printer and it needs to be replaced.

Hi my Printer hp officejet 5230 shows the error code 0x80000924 UNDERCROFT C, only prints red and I can't take the Ink Cartridges out because they are stuck under a black plastic cover on the right hand side. What can I do?
