HP Photosmart 7510 e-All-in-One Printer - C311a

The wheels in the bottom part of the printer, not the back but the ones in the middle bottom where the paper would be let out, just are not working

Hi @Player_2,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you're experiencing issues with the feed rollers in your printer, which are crucial for pulling the paper through the machine. Here are some steps you can follow to troubleshoot and potentially fix this issue:

Power Off and Unplug: Before you do anything, make sure to turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source to avoid any risk of injury or further damage to the printer.

Access the Rollers: Open the printer's access panel or door where you normally remove jammed paper. You might need to consult your printer's manual for specific instructions on how to access the rollers effectively.

Clean the Rollers: Dust, paper fiber, and other debris can accumulate on the rollers and affect their grip on the paper. Use a lint-free cloth moistened with distilled water or isopropyl alcohol to gently clean the rollers. Rotate the rollers with your fingers to ensure you clean them completely.

Check for Wear and Tear: Examine the rollers for any signs of wear, such as cracks or smoothing. Worn-out rollers can lose their ability to grip paper and may need to be replaced.

Reposition or Adjust Tension: Sometimes rollers can become misaligned. If possible, check if the rollers are properly aligned and that their tension is appropriate. This might not be something easily adjustable depending on the printer model, but a manual might provide guidance.

Paper Type and Placement: Ensure that you're using the correct type of paper for your printer and that it's loaded correctly in the tray. Improperly loaded paper can also cause feeding issues.

Test the Printer: After cleaning and checking the rollers, plug the printer back in, turn it on, and try to print a test page. This will help you determine if the issue persists.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
