Hi @Lm1997
Welcome to the HP support community.
I understand you're experiencing an issue with your HP device, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I'm here to help you today.
If your HP DeskJet 2810e is showing an error but not specifying what it is, here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the issue:
Check for any blinking light on printer: Look at the printer’s display panel for any error codes or messages or blinking lights.
Restart the Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it for a minute, then plug it back in and turn it on again. This can often reset minor issues.
Check Connections: Ensure that all cables are securely connected and that the printer is properly connected to your Wi-Fi network (if using wireless).
Clear Print Queue: Go to your computer's print queue and cancel any stuck print jobs. Sometimes, a single stuck job can cause the printer to halt.
Run HP Print and Scan Doctor: This tool can help diagnose and fix common printing issues. Download it from the HP website and run it.click here
Check Ink Levels: Ensure that your ink cartridges are not empty and are installed correctly. Replace any low or empty cartridges.
Update Drivers: Make sure you have the latest printer drivers installed. You can download the latest drivers from the HP website.click here
Factory Reset the Printer: If none of the above steps work, consider performing a factory reset on the printer:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it for a minute.
- Press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.
I hope this helps! Keep me posted.
