Hi @rexjake,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP Envy Photo 6255 printer is printing blank pages despite cleaning and checking the ink cartridges, there are several troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the issue.

  • Check Ink Levels: Ensure that the ink cartridges have enough ink left. You can usually check ink levels through your printer's control panel or software on your computer.
  • Run Print Head Cleaning: Most printers have a print head cleaning utility in their settings. Run this utility to clean the print heads, which can sometimes become clogged and cause blank pages.
  • Align Print Heads: After cleaning the print heads, align them if your printer has this option. Proper alignment ensures that the ink is deposited correctly on the paper.
  • Check for Empty Cartridges: Even if you've checked ink levels, make sure none of the ink cartridges are completely empty or dried out. Replace any empty or dried-out cartridges.
  • Use Genuine HP Ink Cartridges: Using off-brand or refilled cartridges can sometimes cause printing problems. It's recommended to use genuine HP ink cartridges for the best results.
  • Check Paper Quality: Ensure that you are using the correct type and size of paper for your printer. Low-quality or incompatible paper may not take ink well.
  • Update Printer Drivers: Make sure you have the latest printer drivers installed on your computer. Sometimes outdated drivers can lead to printing issues. You can usually download the latest drivers from the HP website.
  • Restart the Printer: Sometimes, a simple power cycle can resolve printing problems. Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait a minute, and then plug it back in and turn it on.
  • Check for Firmware Updates: Ensure that your printer's firmware is up to date. Firmware updates can sometimes address printing issues.
  • Test with Different Documents: Try printing different types of documents to see if the issue persists. Sometimes, the problem may be specific to certain files or applications.
  • Inspect the Print Head: Carefully inspect the print head for any visible blockages or damage. If you see any, clean or replace the print head as needed.
  • Reset the Printer: As a last resort, you can try resetting the printer to its factory defaults. Check your printer's manual or the HP website for instructions on how to perform a factory reset.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, it's possible that there may be a hardware problem with the printer, such as a faulty print head or other internal component.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
