My printer is printing streaks whenever I use photo paper. The print diagnostic page looks fine. The printer alignment page looks fine. But when I print on photo paper, there is noticeable white streaks in the image.

I have already done the following:

1. replace ink cartridges

2. clean the printer (done about 6 times already)

3. align the printer

4. restart the printer

6. the printing settings is set to photo glossy paper at best

7. the printer's setting is set to photo paper

At this point I'm wondering if its possible to fix this issue or if I should just get a new printer. It's only been used for a year.

Please advise.

Have you tried a different brand of paper. This issue can be caused by paper advance issues and different papers will have more or fewer problems with this.

I’ve been using the same brand of photo paper ever since I got this printer, so there used to be no issues when I print. I don’t think it’s the type of paper that is causing the issue. Could it be a hardware problem?
