My printer is stuck on the printer setup phase, and will not complete the process. I've installed the HP Smart driver and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor, restarted it a bunch, unplugged it while it was on to 'reset' as suggested by the setup troubleshooter, but it's stuck on the 'need to finish setup' screen, or the 'Connected to wireless network, waiting for Web Services' screen. How do I get out of this purgatory?!

Welcome to the HP Support Community!
- Have you tried to tap on the question mark icon on the printer and check for further options?
- Check for options on the screen.
Power resetting the printer and a factory reset may resolve this issue. Let us try these steps:
Step 1: Reset the printer
1. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
2. Wait at least 60 seconds.
3. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
4. Turn ON the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
5. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
Step 2: Perform a factory reset
- The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
- I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
- In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/notes/privatenotespage
