Hi @Cher121,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you're experiencing a common issue with printing where the printer seems to be functioning properly but the output is blank. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try.
- Check Ink Levels: Even though you mentioned there is ink, it's worth checking the ink levels again to ensure they are sufficient. Sometimes, the printer might report ink levels inaccurately.
- Print a Test Page: Most printers have a built-in function to print a test page. This can help determine if the issue is with the printer itself or with the computer/software you're using. Check your printer's manual for instructions on how to print a test page.
- Clean Print Heads: Over time, print heads can become clogged with dried ink, which can lead to blank pages. Many printers have a utility or option in the settings menu to clean the print heads. Run this utility to see if it improves print quality.
- Check Printer Settings: Ensure that the printer settings in your software are correct. Sometimes, settings like "Print in Grayscale" or "Draft Mode" can inadvertently be selected, resulting in blank pages.
- Update Printer Drivers: Make sure you have the latest drivers for your printer installed on your computer. Outdated drivers can sometimes cause printing issues.
- Inspect Paper: Check the paper tray to ensure that the paper is loaded correctly and that there are no jams or obstructions. Also, verify that you're using the correct type and size of paper for your printer.
- Restart Printer and Computer: Sometimes, simply restarting both your printer and your computer can resolve minor issues.
- Reset Printer: If none of the above steps work, you may need to reset your printer to its factory settings. Refer to your printer's manual for instructions on how to do this.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
