@MARIAEVELIN,

Welcome to the HP Forums 🙂 I would like to take a moment and thank you for using this forum, it is a great place to find answers. For you to have the best experience on the HP forum, you could also visit our HP Forums Guide for First Time Here? Learn How to Post and More. I see from your post that you're having issues while printing from your HP DeskJet GT 5820 Printer. Don't worry we'll work together to help you find a solution.

To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:

Have you recently made any changes before the issue started?

Does it automatically prints the same page? Have you tried to run the HP Print and Scan Doctor?

Did you try to restart print spooler?

In the meantime, let's try these steps here:

Please make sure that the printer is connected directly to the wall outlet and not to the surge protector.

With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

Remove USB cable, if present.

Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.

Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord and then plug back the power cord to the printer.

Turn on the printer and wait till warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle.

If you are facing any issue while using the printer then try using HP Print and Scan Doctor (PSDR). PSDR is an automated tool which can diagnose and resolve printing and scanning problems. Please go to this link: HP Printers - Using HP Print and Scan Doctor (Windows)  to download and run HP PSDR. Once you open the program, select your printer and click on “Fix Printing” to automatically diagnose and fix the issue.

If the issue persists, I would suggest here is to Reset your printing environment, delete print job files manually, and then restart both the computer and the printer.

  1. Turn off the printer using the power button and then unplug the printer power cord from the power outlet.

  2. In Windows, search for and open Services.

  3. In the Services window, right-click Print Spooler, and then select Stop.

Service window the Print Spooler service selected from the Name list and the Stop selection called out.

  4. After the service stops, close the Services window.

  5. In Windows, search for and open C:Windows\System32\Spool\PRINTERS.

  6. Delete all files in the PRINTERS folder.

  7. Shut down your computer.

  8. Connect the printer power cord to the power outlet, and then turn on the printer.

  9. Turn on the computer, and then try to print. If the issue persists, continue to the next step.

Dear @jeet_singh

below is my answer :

1. Have you recently made any changes before the issue started? --> I only change the wifi connection setup

2. Does it automatically prints the same page? Have you tried to run the HP Print and Scan Doctor? --> yes, it automatically prints the same page, I already tried to run the HP Print & scan Doctor, but it said my printer is working normally

3. Did you try to restart print spooler? --> yes I already restart the print spooler

I already reseted my printing environment, delete print job files manually, and then restart both the computer and the printer and it works like a charm (for now) ! hopefullly the problem don't show again !

thanks for your help :generic:
