HP DeskJet 2752 All-in-One Printer

My HP Inkjet Printer keeps flashing a I error message and won’t print. I have unplugged the machine and tried to reset it but the error message won’t go away.

I understand your HP DeskJet 2752 printer is displaying an error message and won't print despite resetting it, there are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

 

  • Check Error Message: Take note of the exact error message being displayed. This can help narrow down the issue.
  • Check for Paper Jams: Even a small piece of torn paper can cause the printer to display an error. Open the printer’s access door and check for any paper jams. Clear any paper stuck inside carefully.
  • Inspect Ink Cartridges: Sometimes errors can be related to ink cartridges not being properly installed or recognized. Open the printer cover and ensure that the ink cartridges are seated correctly and that there are no visible issues with them.
  • Restart Printer: Disconnect the power cord from the printer and wait for about 1-2 minutes. Then reconnect the power cord and turn on the printer again. This can sometimes clear temporary errors.
  • Update Firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. Sometimes updating the firmware can resolve persistent issues. Update the firmware on an HP printer
  • Check for Obstructions: Ensure that there are no obstructions inside the printer that could be causing the error. 
  • Reset Printer: If a simple restart didn’t work, try performing a semi-full reset. This process varies depending on the printer model, so refer to your printer’s manual or HP’s support website for instructions specific to the DeskJet 2752.
  • Check for Software Issues: If you’re printing from a computer, ensure that the printer driver and software are up to date. Sometimes outdated or corrupted printer drivers can cause errors.
