Recently, my printer goes offline on a daily basis.  Now, even after following all of the troubleshooting steps but cannot print or scan from my PC.   
-  The printer is working fine if scan a doc to print
-  It is connected to the network
-  It is set as the DEFAULT printer
-  I ran the ScanDr. 
-  I unplugged and restarted the printer, router, and PC in that order

I recommend to try Step 3 at first. Adding port with Host Name.
The host name of your printer can be seen on the display of your printer.

 Home menu > press Wifi button.
