Hi @BJATMAN,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP printer 8135e is not printing or copying even after rebooting and reinstalling, there could be several possible reasons for this issue. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try.

  • Check Connection: Ensure that the printer is properly connected to the computer or network. If it's a wired connection, make sure the cables are securely plugged in. If it's a wireless connection, verify that the printer is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network.
  • Printer Status: Check if there are any error messages or warning lights on the printer itself. This can provide clues about what might be wrong.
  • Printer Queue: Check the printer queue on your computer to see if there are any pending print jobs stuck in the queue. If there are, try cancelling them and then try printing again.
  • Printer Drivers: Make sure you have the latest drivers installed for your printer. You can download the latest drivers from the HP website. Sometimes, even if you reinstall the drivers, they may not be the latest version.
  • Paper and Ink/Toner: Ensure that there is enough paper in the printer tray and that the ink or toner cartridges are not empty. Replace any empty cartridges if necessary.
  • Restart Printer Spooler: Sometimes restarting the Print Spooler service can resolve printing issues. To do this, open the Run dialog (Windows key + R), type "services.msc", find the "Print Spooler" service, right-click on it, and select "Restart".
  • Firewall/Antivirus: Check if your firewall or antivirus software is blocking the communication between your computer and the printer. Temporarily disable them to see if it resolves the issue.
  • Try Another Device: If possible, try printing from another device to see if the issue is with the printer itself or with the computer you're trying to print from.
  • Factory Reset: As a last resort, you can try performing a factory reset on the printer. Refer to the printer's manual for instructions on how to do this.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, it's possible that there may be a hardware problem with the printer itself.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
