When I try to print something it says there's a paper jam and when it did print it took 2 pieces of papaer.

Please clarify the issue a little more. What printer do you have? Did it feed 2 sheets at the same time or one after the other? This makes a big difference in the possible problem. If it takes 2 sheets at the same time either the separation pad/roller is worn or dirty or you have paper that is sticking together. If it takes one page after the other, then likely the page size settings or page size asked for in the print job do not match the paper loaded in the printer. For instance, if you have letter paper loaded and the print job is legal.

It's an hp laser jet mpw and yes it said there was a paper jam but I looked at it there wasn't anything there.

Exact model? How old. Please answer clearly about how it fed the two sheets.
