So i have the same question. I have an HP OfficeJet Pro 6978. My printerdoesnt support the 12x12 size paper which is fine. but I have the same Silhouette printable sticker paper in 8.5x11. My printer pulls it half way through and then acts like it prints but it never pulls the paper through. The few times I have been successful in getting the paper to pull through, it only printed the last half of my image on the sticker paper. My sticker paper is glossy on one side and a waxy feeling on the other. Can someone please help me? The paper says you CAN use with a home printer.

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

  • To Check what type and size of papers are compatible with this printer, check Paper-handling specifications in this document.
  • The rollers or the paper sensors will not be able to pull or print on the media that is not supported by this printer.
  • Try to make a standalone copy on the same sticker paper and check if that works.
  • Try to print on a different type of paper that is supported and check if that works. ex: Photo paper, US letter size sheets.
  • Make sure to select the right paper type on the computer before printing:
  1. Click File, and then click Print.
  2. In the Print window, click Preferences, Properties, or Printer Properties.

  3. Click the Paper/Quality tab. Select the appropriate paper type and size.

  4. Try to print.

Let me know how this goes.
