OfficeJet Pro 6978

I just bought my OfficeJet Pro 6978 printer and set it up to work wirelessly with my Windows computer. My internet connection is wireless. The printer prints files such as Word or Excel documents just fine. It will not print emails or any other items online. The wireless light on the printer is on. Nothing appears in the print queue after selecting an email to print. I have run the Scan and Print doctor tool but no luck. Any suggestions?

As I understand, the printer is not printing anything from online, 

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

Have you tried printing from a different browser?

Have you selected the correct printer when printing from email? 

Was it working fine before?

Were there any hardware/software changes made?

Which browser are you printing from?

 

Once I have the information, I'll help you resolve the issue,

It seems to be working now using Internet Explorer as well as Google Chrome. I did turn the system off for a week so maybe it just needed a reboot. Thanks!

My HP Office Jet 5740 wont print emails or anything on line. Word and Excel document seem fine

The whole computer was re-imaged and the printer taken off and re-installed with the same results
