HP ENVY Inspire 7955e All-in-One Printer

My printer will not print.  “a problem has occurred with your HP account and you will be unable to print until the issue is   resolved”  My warranty is expired.  I don’t care, I’m not buying another one.  HOW do I get control of my printer back??

Hi @Privatestewarde,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Sign into Your HP Account:

  • Visit HP Smart or HP's official website and log in with your credentials. Check for any notifications related to your account or services like Instant Ink.

Check HP Instant Ink:

  • If you are or were enrolled in HP Instant Ink, ensure that your subscription is active and not causing the issue. If you are no longer interested in using Instant Ink, you might need to cancel the subscription officially through your HP account.

Reset the Printer:

  • Turn off your printer, unplug it from the power source, wait about a minute, and then plug it back in and turn it on.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Ensure your printer has the latest firmware. You can update it via the HP Smart app or HP's website.

Reinstall Printer Software:

  • Remove the printer from your computer's list of printers, then reinstall the latest software and drivers available from HP's support site.

Network and Connectivity:

  • Ensure your printer is connected to the correct network and troubleshoot any network issues if necessary.

I hope this helps.
