Hi, I bought this printer 2 years ago.  It worked spotty one time.  I could never get it to work again.  I probably should have returned it but I’m trying to get help now.  Every light on the bottom right side of the printer is flashing.

@Jorie1215, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding printer that does not work!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Here are some general steps you could follow to troubleshoot the issue:

  1. Check Printer Status: Make sure there are no paper jams or obstructions within the printer.
  2. Restart the Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for about a minute, and then plug it back in and turn it on.
  3. Check Ink Cartridges: Ensure that the ink cartridges are correctly installed and have enough ink. If they are installed incorrectly, you might need to reinstall them.
  4. Update Printer Firmware: Visit the HP website and check for any firmware updates for your specific printer model.
  5. Perform a Reset: Some printers have a Reset button or require you to perform a certain button combination to reset the device.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
