Hi,
I purchased an HP Evny 7155 All in one photo printer about a month ago and since then ive only been able to get one good print out of the thing. Every time I try and print a photo, it comes out misalligned. The photo starts off fine but then it get prgressivly worse and each layer of the photo doesnt line up with the next. Also, at the end of the photo, there are black boxes, that fill in the rest of the imgae after it got skewed. Is there a way to fix this?
thanks,
Jordan H

Thank you for joining HP Forums.
I'll be glad to help you 🙂
As I understand the prints are misaligned and choppy,
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
Did you ensure genuine HP Ink cartridges are being used?
Did you run the HP Print and Scan doctor to identify and resolve the issue?
While you respond to that, here's what you need to do:
Step 1: Use genuine HP ink cartridges
HP recommends that you use genuine HP ink or toner supplies. HP cannot guarantee the quality or reliability of non-HP or refilled cartridges. If you do not use genuine HP cartridges, the steps in this document might not resolve the issue. To check the authenticity of your cartridges, go to hp.com/go/anticounterfeit.
Visit HP SureSupply to check ink or toner cartridge compatibility or purchase replacement cartridges and other supplies.
-
Go to HP SureSupply.
-
If necessary, select your country/region.
Figure : Country/region selector
-
Follow the on-screen instructions to order new supplies or check cartridge compatibility with your printer.
You can also purchase genuine HP cartridges and supplies from other retailers.
NOTE:
Rough handling at the store or during installation can cause print quality problems with newly installed ink cartridges. If you see print problems with newly installed ink cartridges, wait for a few hours for the automatic servicing routine to complete, and then try to print again.
If installing genuine HP ink cartridges resolved the issue, you do not need to continue troubleshooting.

Hi,
I am using HP inks! I have not tried running the print and scan doctor. Is that a software I should download? Also, is it possible that my photos are printing weird because of the software is use to edit and print?

Hi! @hansenjdog, I am the Mr.Robot. It looks like you were interacting with @Riddle_Decipher, but he is out of the office today, so I'll take over from here.
I appriciate your efforts for writing back to us.
Does the issue persist when you make a copy from your printer?
You can download and run print and scan doctor only if you have issues connecting to the printer or scanning.
However, if the copy works fine try aligning your printer and check if it helps.
Also, Print a Print Quality Diagnostic Report, and then evaluate the results.
-
On the control panel, swipe down to open the Dashboard, and then touch the Setup
icon.
-
Swipe up on the display, touch Reports, and then touch Print Quality Report.
A Print Quality Diagnostic page prints.
Align the printer
Use an automated tool to align the ink cartridges.
1.On the printer control panel, swipe down to open the Dashboard, and then touch the Setup icon.
2.Swipe up on the display, and then touch Printer Maintenance.
3.Touch Align Cartridges and then touch Continue.
The printer prints an alignment page.
After aligning the ink cartridges, try to print. If the print quality is unacceptable, continue to the next step.
Refer this article to further troubleshoot print quality issues with your laptop.
