I am making a menu for a restaurant and have decided to purchase linen card stock paper because of the finer look. When I printed it out on my HP CP5225 the words are dragged over and duplicated making the words illegible. Can someone help me fix this issue?20230808_150940.jpg

The linen paper type is not supported.

The results might be due to the thickness, an uneven print surface, "something" that the printer does not like about the texture of the paper.

Perhaps a good printer cleaning might help.

No Joy...

If you really don't want to waste that nice linen card paper and the printer will not print on the paper,

Consider printing the menu on fine, white, Professional paper (32lb).

Attach the printed paper to the linen paper.

Perhaps trim the printed paper to "just under" the size of the linen paper to create a framed effect...

At least the back of the menu would have the tactile feel you are trying to achieve when the customer is holding the menu.

Crisp black printing on fine white paper is perhaps a style statement on its own.

Our Laser printer enthusiasts might have some practical advice to make the printer to what you want...
