I am having trouble printing and finishing setting up my printer. It keeps telling me my ink door is open even after it is closed.

True - If the door sensor says the door is open, you cannot finish the printer setup process.

What to do?

Not sure - there are so many HP printer models out there...

Figure out which model of printer you have and go from there...

Open the  Product Home  Page

Open Category Manuals

Open the User Guide

Find the instructions / description of the printer parts to see if there is any help.

For example - random selection:

User Guide - HP ENVY Pro 6400 All-in-One series

Replace Cartridges - Page 61

You will still need to know which printer you have.

Look for a "setup" video for your model or printer series.

For example

HP Envy Pro 6452| 6455 AiO printer : Unbox, Setup, Connect to 5Ghz, Load paper, Scan alignment page
