Cannot seem to turn ON the 2 sided printing feature anymore.
In the print option screen (screenshot below) I selected the Long Edge Binding in the "Two-sided" field (saved it as a preset) but WORD still prints out 2 separate pages rather then front and back of one page
I found the list of printer features & the status of each feature. the 2 sided printing feature as "OFF."
Not sure how I found the list because I can't seem to find it again *sigh* Any help or guidance is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to HP Forums,
This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips,
Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂
As I understand, you need help in enabling two-sided printing,
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
When was the last time it worked fine?
Were there any hardware/software changes made?
Let's try these steps to enable double-sided printing:
If your printer has an automatic two-sided duplexing accessory, confirm it is configured in the printer options settings.
-
Click the Apple menu, click System Preferences, and then click Print & Scan or Printers & Scanners.
-
Locate your printer name next to Kind in the right pane.
Figure: Example of an HP printer using the AirPrint driver
-
If AirPrint is not in the name, you are using the HP driver. Continue to the next step.
-
If AirPrint is in the name, re-add the printer with the HP driver.
Select your printer name in the Printers list, click the minus sign
at the bottom of the Printers pane to remove the printer, click the plus sign
, click the name of your printer in the Add window, click the Use menu and select the name of your printer in the pop-up menu, and then click Add. Continue to the next step.

-
-
Select your printer name in the Printers list, and then click Options & Supplies.
Figure: Click Options & Supplies in the Printers & Scanners window
-
Click Options, and then select the checkbox next to HP Two-sided Printing Accessory (Duplexer).
NOTE: If the accessory does not display, your printer does not support automatic duplexing or the accessory is not compatible with the currently selected printer driver. Use the manual duplexing steps in this document to print.

-
Print a multi-page document to confirm the Two-Sided setting is available.

Thanks Flower_Bud for responding.
Would you believe the printer corrected itself overnight. The next morning the "two-sided" option had a check in it.
Go Figure.
In your #4 instructions I clicked on Options & Supplies and saw only 3 tabs. There was no "Option" tab.
Could it just be my printer?

Thanks for responding,
It's great to have you back,
This is nothing to do with the printer, it may look different depending on your operating system version.
I'm glad you found the solution for this concern.
You've been great to work with and it has been a genuine pleasure interacting with you.
I hope both you and your product works great and remain healthy for a long time 😉
Take care now and do have a fabulous week ahead. 🙂
