Do I need to uninstall software on dead Photosmart printer before installing software for the AiO?  Should I remove ink before moving the AiO printer to room with PC to which I want to connect it?  Is there any problem with having the printer software installed on two PCs at the same time, even though I will have the printer hard-wired to only one of them?  Any tips or other things I should know to properly move the printer? Thanks for any help you can provide.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

You needn't uninstall or remove ink. You can just install the drivers of the Printer on another PC or install the HP Smart App: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04675142

Let me know if this helps.
