Hi @Tony1906,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your concern!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I hear you, your printer was working fine, and now it’s suddenly giving you the E0 error with non-HP ink. That’s beyond frustrating!

Here’s what’s happening: HP printers have built-in security features designed to work best with original HP cartridges. Non-HP ink might function for a while, but firmware updates can sometimes block them, kind of like your printer recognizing it’s been tricked.

But don’t worry! Try these troubleshooting steps to get things back on track:
🔗 Fix Ink Cartridge Issues

If the issue persists, switching to genuine HP ink will ensure smooth printing without interruptions. Let me know if you need any help! 😊

I'm glad I could help! 😊 If this resolved your issue, please mark it as "Accepted Solution" and click "Yes" on "Was this reply helpful?"—your feedback not only keeps us going but also helps others find the solution faster! 👍

Take care and have an amazing day ahead! 🚀

Best regards,

Kuroi_Kenshi
