Laserjet M570dn
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

We have an HP Laserjet M570dn that is often extremely slow to print. It can take 10 minutes for a job to print. Our printer sales person updated the firmware because the printer was often entering an error state. After he updated the firmware, it no longer enters an error state but now is slow to print. This happens from all workstations on the network. It is connected via ethernet on a workgroup. Our printer guy pulled some logs that show PCLXL errors so he thinks it is a driver issue. But when i try to reinstall the printer it installs the same PCL 6 drivers and I can't find any PCL 5 drivers to try. To make things worse, this happens intermittently and when I went to troubleshoot in person, it was printing normally.

I'd appreciate any help.

Try installing a universal print driver to see if will it make changes
