Microsoft Windows 11

BRAND NEW Desk Jet 2852E.  Been through all the diagnostics twice, Virtual Assistant was useless (mentioned  what was on the app), has been uninstalled and reinstalled.  Printer is connected to the internet (finally after two tries), prints test pages and installation instructions, but nothing else.  When you try to print a document the only option is Save to PDF, printer is not even listed.  Clicking on add a printer in that menu just takes you back to settings, and clicking on the printer does nothing.  Was unplugged (computer, printer) all night last night. Router was unplugged this afternoon.  Why can't I talk to a human who could probably solve this in 10 minutes, without cost.  WHy do I have to pay to get my new printer functional?  I'm frustrated to the point that I want to run it over with my car and switch back to Espson.
