OfficeJet Pro 8030

I just purchased a new OfficeJet Pro 8030. When printing a test page, or any page from the printers built-in interface, only 1 copy is printed. However, when I print from my Mac (5K desktop, not laptop, OS is Ventura, which is not in the list of options yet) 4 copies are printed for every document page. I printed an 11-page document yesterday, which resulted in 44 sheets of paper (33 wasted sheets is a lot)!

I've deleted the printer multiple times, and then allowed the Bonjour service to find it again. I've switched from WiFi to hard-line to USB, but the result is the same. I've ensured that the printer has the latest updates.

Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this issue? The print display on the Mac clearly says 1 copy.

Thank you.

Welcome to the HP support community.

Which application are you using to print?

Thank you, Sandy.

Seems this issue has gone away. I removed the printer again and restarted it. I noticed the printer seemed to do an update, and now all is well.

I'm too sick right now to care about the cause, it works and that's all I wanted.

Thank you
