My printer worked perfectly last week. I use Mac laptops and a Windows laptop. Currently it was working best (printing in color) with the Windows laptop. The other day when I went to print, the printer was flashing lights within the buttons on the control panel: the circular menu choice button is flashing blue; the Eco button is flashing green; and the small screen is flashing blackish rectangles across the top row. Below the control panel, the light under the hazard symbol is flashing reddish orange and the light under the wi-fi symbol is flashing blue. I cannot power it on though it seems to have power because of the lights. I've long pressed on the power button and this does not work either. I've tried two different power cords, different outlets, and cleaned it with canned air. I have connected it to my computer and tried to run the Samsung Printer Experience app but it says the printer is offline. I've shutdown and unplugged and redid everything which did not help. I also tried pressing the buttons in different combinations to reset the printer... I also put in all new cartridges but it still does not work. Is there a way to manually reset this printer? Should I replace something? Can anyone please help me with this problem?

Hi @SAM4V,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your laptop!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
Power Cycle the Printer:
- Turn off the printer and disconnect the power cord.
- Wait for about a minute.
- Reconnect the power cord and turn on the printer. This simple step can resolve several issues.
Check for Paper Jams:
- Open the printer’s input tray and remove any paper.
- Check inside the printer for any paper jams and clear them.
- Close all covers and trays securely.
Check Print Cartridges:
- Open the cartridge access door.
- Ensure that all cartridges are properly installed and are not low on ink.
- Remove and reinstall each cartridge to ensure they are seated correctly.
Look for Specific Error Codes:
- If the printer displays any error codes on the screen, take note of them.
- Refer to the printer's manual or HP's support website for detailed error code explanations and troubleshooting steps.
Ensure Proper Connections:
- Verify that all cables (USB, network, or FireWire) are securely connected.
- If using a network connection, make sure the printer is connected to the network correctly.
I hope this helps.
