The HP OfficeJet Pro 1835e stopped printing after I installed new ink cartridges. The printer is online and willing to print the CUSTOMER SERVICE REPORT, the Print Quality Service Report, and the Event Log (so the cartridges are working fine). It will NOT print anything from the computer, including the test page from the Windows setting app or the HP Smart app. The Event Log lists the following error codes in decreasing frequency: F0.03.06.08, F0.03.09.03, Error F0.04.02.02 is labeled CRITICAL. Warning codes in decreasing frequency are F0.04.02.03, F0.01.2D.02, F0.03.08.01, and F0.03.08.04. Printer has been turned off and, on several times, even reinstalled via HP Smart. HP Smart says the printer is ready to print. Firmware 6.20.1.5-202403010838 and automatic updates is set to ON. The printer is 4 months old and still under warranty. Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to the HP English Community --
My personal opinion is that this is a dirty little bug -- and it's been around for a while, too.
I've been watching the Alerts and Bulletins - nothing so far...
I do NOT think the printer hardware is broken -- I think the firmware is fighting itself.
I am not HP and I don't have access to the code -- I might be a toad on a rock.
I was able to bring my (new at the time) 9135e back from the brink using a combination of determination, a bit of swearing, and a couple of actions that finally got the printer's attention and sorted whatever was bothering the Firmware.
NOTE -- if what is posted below does not work, contact HP Support and ask if they have anything new -- also ask for help with the deep / semi-full reset.
What?
Why not just give it to you? We are "right here".
"We" - that is, not-HP people, are not allowed to provide the instructions for anything that might harm the printer.
If, on the other hand, you are in the care of an HP agent and things go side ways, HP will not mumble a sincere apology, wave and then sail away into the distance.

Next - Frankenstein "How I did it"
Can't stand it - you don't want to try to clear the issue yourself?
Go ahead and contact HP Support.
The procedure I provide below is simple, might work, and won't harm the printer.
It will wipe out all your previous settings, setups, Quick Sets, and other bits.
A Semi-full reset does all that and more, and it's a one stop deal if you can convince HP Support to help you do it.
(They might want to poke, prod, test, and test some more -- that is their job.)

Clear the F0.xx error
The issue has been reported -- HP is aware of the issue.
I've not yet seen any definitive answer - Check your printer model support website Alerts.
For those reading - the issue appears related to F0.xx errors that surface in the EWS Event Log
Symptoms vary from annoying to loss of control over the printer - no shutdown, no boot, no EWS access
Sample of F0.xx error messages in EWS
EWS_9135_General_Event_Log_F0_Firmware_Error_1
First, If the printer is unresponsive, use the following to regain control of the printer and EWS.
Add the steps to remove the ink cartridges and press / hold power button to the Power Reset steps
Remove ink cartridges
Unplug the power cord from both printer and wall outlet
Press and hold power button for about 15 seconds or a bit more
Release power button
Wait for 30 seconds or more
Note: If freaked out by constant fighting with it, leave printer sitting (unplugged) for a minute.
Reconnect the printer -- Plug power into standard wall outlet (no surge protector for this)
Reinsert ink cartridges
Wait for printer to boot completely - takes a while - maybe one or two minutes.
