Hi @Anabella1803 ,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand your HP LaserJet Pro CP1025nw Color Printer is not printing cyan even after changing the toner cartridge and imaging unit, here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
Check the Toner Cartridge Installation:
- Ensure the new cyan toner cartridge is properly installed. Remove it and reinsert it, making sure it's securely in place.
Verify the Cyan Toner Level:
- Sometimes, a new cartridge might be defective or improperly filled. Check the toner levels through the printer’s control panel or the HP Smart app to confirm that cyan toner is not low or empty.
Clean the Toner Cartridge Contacts:
- Dust or toner residue on the contacts can prevent proper communication between the toner cartridge and the printer. Gently clean the contacts on both the toner cartridge and inside the printer with a soft, dry cloth.
Check for Firmware Updates: Update the firmware on an HP printer
- Sometimes firmware issues can affect print quality. Check if there are any available updates for your printer and install them.
Print a Test Page:
- Print a test page or a color calibration page. This can help identify if the issue is with a specific color or the entire printer.
Check for Paper Jams:
- Ensure there are no paper jams or obstructions in the printer that could be affecting print quality.
Perform a Print Head Cleaning:
- Although the CP1025nw does not have individual print heads, running a cleaning cycle can sometimes help. Refer to the printer’s manual or settings menu to see if there's an option to clean or align the print cartridges.
Replace the Cyan Imaging Unit:
- If the cyan imaging unit was replaced, ensure it’s the correct model and properly installed. Sometimes issues with imaging units can affect color printing.
Reset the Printer:
- Try resetting the printer to its factory settings. This can sometimes resolve issues related to print quality.

I hope this helps.
