HP LaserJet Pro CP1025nw Color Printer

I had to change the Cyan tonner and after the change it stopped printing with that color, I put in the old cartridge and it still doesn't print in cyan, I changed the imaging unit and it didn't solve

I understand your HP LaserJet Pro CP1025nw Color Printer is not printing cyan even after changing the toner cartridge and imaging unit, here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

Check the Toner Cartridge Installation:

  • Ensure the new cyan toner cartridge is properly installed. Remove it and reinsert it, making sure it's securely in place.

Verify the Cyan Toner Level:

  • Sometimes, a new cartridge might be defective or improperly filled. Check the toner levels through the printer’s control panel or the HP Smart app to confirm that cyan toner is not low or empty.

Clean the Toner Cartridge Contacts:

  • Dust or toner residue on the contacts can prevent proper communication between the toner cartridge and the printer. Gently clean the contacts on both the toner cartridge and inside the printer with a soft, dry cloth.

Check for Firmware Updates: Update the firmware on an HP printer

  • Sometimes firmware issues can affect print quality. Check if there are any available updates for your printer and install them.

Print a Test Page:

  • Print a test page or a color calibration page. This can help identify if the issue is with a specific color or the entire printer.

Check for Paper Jams:

  • Ensure there are no paper jams or obstructions in the printer that could be affecting print quality.

Perform a Print Head Cleaning:

  • Although the CP1025nw does not have individual print heads, running a cleaning cycle can sometimes help. Refer to the printer’s manual or settings menu to see if there's an option to clean or align the print cartridges.
